OUR PLAYS
Ventana is focused in the STACK, Merge, and SCOOP plays of the eastern Anadarko Basin in central Oklahoma. These three plays include multiple vertically stacked oil-prone reservoirs such as the Oswego, Springer, Meramec, Osage, Sycamore, and Woodford formations. The Woodford formation is one of the highest quality source rocks in the US, as well as prolific unconventional reservoir.
Ventana’s talented team is data and technology driven to deploy capital across these prolific plays to offer the best return on investment. Our central location means all properties are within an hour’s drive of our Oklahoma City office, which has allowed us to build strong relationships with local operators and mineral owners, and to participate in the interests we purchase.
